Student Life would like to announce that Southeastern’s first Homecoming Week will be the week after Fall Break, October 10-15. It will begin with our campus-wide cook-out on Monday night and conclude with the Steeple Chase 5K on Saturday. We will be collecting money throughout Homecoming Week for the Chicago church plant, called The Church at North Center, which is being commissioned this Summer.

Summary of Events:

Free barbecue and fixings. Inflatables and games for all!

Chicago-Pie-in-the Face Begins
Donation station available at the Cook-Out and Ledford Center throughout the week. All funds will be donated to The Church at North Center which will be deployed to Chicago, IL during the Summer of 2012. Southeastern Spirit Day sponsored by Chick-Fil-A!*
Wear a Southeastern t-shirt (no polos or button down shirt) and show up at 10:00 AM in the Ledford Center. Why? Because the first 100 who come wearing a Southeastern shirt will receive a FREE Chick-Fil-A Chicken Biscuit.

Also, anyone who comes to the Front Desk at the Ledford Center wearing a Southeastern Shirt from 8:00 a.m.-4:45 p.m. has the chance to enter in a raffle to win a gift card from the Alumni Office. Three $25 cards will be given out (Target, Shell Gas Station, and Walmart). Winners will be notified by email on Thursday, October 13.

Intramural Extravaganza*
6:00-10:00 PM in the Ledford Center.
Pizza and drinks will be served for $2.
THIS IS THE CULMINATION OF ALL OF HOMECOMING!
Intramurals will be hosting a night of games during Homecoming Week!  Sign up as a free agent and come participate in any or all of the events.  We will have racquetball, table tennis, 9-ball, corn toss, NERTZ, etc. This is one night you don’t want to miss!

• Students are encouraged to dress up according to the theme announced at the Cook-Out (will be posted on Around Southeastern).
• Winner and loser of the Chicago-Pie-in-the-Face Competition will be announced…and the epic pie in the face will happen promptly at 6:20 PM.
• ResLife Spirit Competition  will end at 6:15 PM. Winner will be announced at 9:30 PM.
• ResLife Door Decoration Winners will be announced at 9:30 PM
