Each year two prestigious awards are presented from The College at Southeastern:

• the Gerald C. Cowen Outstanding College Student award presented to the college senior who has attended C@SE for at least half of their BA credit hours; has achieved a superior grade point average; and is considered by the faculty to be the most outstanding graduating student overall in the college program – this year’s award goes to Melissa Clift.

• the Fletcher and Mildred Driskell History of Ideas award presented to the graduating student based on excellence in History of Ideas courses and the senior thesis – this year’s award goes to Chad Huffman.
