TONIGHT come hear internationally-known economist from the Czech Republic, Tomas Sedlacek, speak on Christianity and Economics. The event will be on Friday, October 14, in the Center for Faith and Culture located in Patterson Hall from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
In 2009 Sedlacek published a book on the philosophy, ethics and history of economic thought, Economics of Good and Evil, for which he is currently on tour and will be speaking at such places as the World Bank in D.C., Google NYC, and The Harvard Club in New York City. You won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to hear one that Yale Economic Review (2006) called one of the “five hot shots in economics” speak from a Christian perspective.
