Youth Corps- serve a local church this summer!

Are you interested in serving in a local church as a summer intern/youth minister?  We have options for you.

The Youth Corps program matches college and seminary students with local North Carolina churches whose youth ministries need quality leadership for the important summer months. The 2013 summer program begins on May 26 and goes through August 12.

Students will work under the direction of the pastor and will be responsible for youth ministry, such as Bible study, recreation, fellowship, retreats, mission projects, etc. Youth music may also be an option in some places. The job descriptions may include ministry with other groups within the church such as children and senior adults.

The salary is $1900 ($190 per week for 10 weeks on the field), plus room and board, which are provided by the local church.  To apply, go to www.NCBCM.org.  Select the Summer Missions tab and select apply.  Create your login and password and complete the online application.  We will accept applications through March of 2013.  You will be contacted by email or phone for an interview as soon as your application is submitted.

This is a ministry of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Baptist Campus Ministry Team of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.  For additional information contact Rick Trexler, Campus Ministry Team Leader by calling 919.459.5560 or emailing rtrexler@ncbaptist.org.
