PastorsCenter_Event_AroundSE

Southeastern’s Center for Pastoral Leadership and Preaching invites you to join us for a panel discussion on Church Safety and Security. This timely discussion will include two sections: Security Information Every Church Should Know and Insurance/Risk Management Considerations.

The Center’s director, Dr. John Ewart, will be joined by Dr. Michael S. Lawson, SEBTS Director of Campus Security, Auxiliary Police Officer, Chaplain, and Master SWAT Operator/Sniper, WFPD; Stephen E. Griffin, President of Insurance People;  Ronald R. Allen, President and Chief Executive Officer of R.R.A. Risk Management Consultant Services; George Harvey, General Counsel at Southeastern; and Sheriff Kent Winstead for this discussion.

Church Safety and Security is the next installment of the Authenticity Series. The Center for Pastoral Leadership and Preaching launched the Authenticity Series in order to provide an honest and encouraging look at the issues real pastors face in ministry. These events are conversational and feature input from a panel of experts in the field. Intended for both local pastors and students interested in pastoral ministry, Authenticity Series events tackle practical and/or theological topics most relevant to ministry today.

Please join us on May 11 from 10 am to 12 pm in Eitel Auditorium on the campus of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. This event is free, but please register here to attend.
