If you are a college or seminary student at SEBTS with children in your home, we would like to invite you to the 23rd Annually Bay Leaf Baptist Toy Chest on Saturday, November 12! It will begin at 9:00am, but we invite you to come early between 6:30-8:30am to enter the raffle (NO raffle entries allowed after 8:30am).

Bay Leaf Baptist Church helps SEBTS students with Christmas gifts for their children. Bay Leaf buys gifts for preschool, elementary and youth, allowing you to purchase those gifts at a very minimal cost.

Here are some of the details:

• All toys are brand new
• Toys are priced at about 10% Cost (i.e. A $50 toy would be priced $5.)
• Families can spend $7 or Get 4 Items (whichever first) Per Child (18 yrs. & under)
• 50 Raffle Items (no cost to enter; must be registered between 6:30-8:30am), called after everyone shops, one per family, if you win – Items include very valuable items – from Power Wheels to Computers
• Bicycles separate – 1 Per Family (first come first serve, ~50 available), for children only – not parents
• Raffle Items (if you win) & Bicycles (if you get one) are $10 each
• There is also a quarter aisle upstairs of lightly loved toys & other items for your children. Everything costs 25 cents & doesn’t count toward $7 limit.
• Over $30,000 collected and spent in 2015 for Toy Chest
• All money paid by shoppers goes straight to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Qualifications to Shop: (auditing and non-credit courses don’t count toward qualifying)

• You or your spouse must be taking 6+ Credit Hours College, OR 6+ Credit Hours Master’s, OR be a Full Time Ph.D., Th.M., D. Min., & Ed.D. student
• Shopping is for children 18 years old and younger living with you

Other Details:

• Student & Spouse ONLY allowed to enter/ shop (No Friends, Relatives, or Children)
• NO CHILDREN allowed at Toy Chest (for their safety and crowd control), with the exception of nursing babies that need to nurse within time frame that you are there (be prepared to carry them, or have one of our volunteers help you)
• NO STROLLERS inside Toy Chest
• Biscuit & Juice Breakfast also provided (by Bay Leaf Men’s Breakfast Ministry)
