4 Things to Prepare for After SEBTS

Leaving Southeastern can be a daunting reality for some, especially those who have spent a considerable amount of time and energy becoming equipped to serve the Church. You do not have to face this task alone. Our office exists to ease the transition from student to alumni and to further equip alumni to continue to serve wherever God has planted them. Check out these resources that are specifically designed to help this transition.

  1. Southeastern Alumni Association
The Southeastern Alumni Association is an avenue for giving back to Southeastern while receiving particular benefits for your membership. Through the SAA, members can audit any graduate course for free, receive access to the Ledford Center and the ATLA Religion Database from the library, and receive discounts on transcripts, the Locker, and conferences hosted at Southeastern. An annual membership is $50 and a lifetime membership is $600. Anyone who has completed a degree of study at Southeastern is eligible to join the Alumni Association.
  2. Southeastern Network
The Southeastern Network is our new social media platform designed specifically for our alumni to connect with one another and stay informed about what is happening at Southeastern. Alumni can reconnect with classmates, post/find/apply for jobs, and engage in discussion with one another. Users can also connect with their local alumni chapters through the web interface to find out news and events specifically impacting their sphere of influence.
  3. Ministry Referral
The Ministry referral service offered through our Student Resources office is another way for Alumni to see where God could be leading them next. This platform, accessed through contact with Student Resources, will allow alumni to search and apply for ministry positions that are tailored to their degree. To sign up for access, fill out the Ministry Referral Form.

 4. Social Media

To stay up-to-date on all news and events happening here at Southeastern, alumni will want to follow the many social media outlets our school utilizes.
