Timothy+Barnabas Exchange Conference | November 6th

Timothy-Barnabas: Help for Leading Families and Churches

LEADERSHIP. It’s implicit and crucial in both the ministry leader’s home and field of service. As Gospel stewards, we’re responsible for shepherding those in our families and churches to Christlikeness, leading them to become high-definition pictures of the Gospel of Christ. To help with this task, the Center for Preaching and Pastoral Leadership is hosting the Timothy-Barnabas Conference on November 6 for Southeastern students, spouses, faculty and staff.

This one-day event will include conference sessions on Christian leadership throughout the day and conclude with an evening banquet for both married and single ministry leaders as well as spouses.

Southeastern is blessed to have Dr. and Mrs. Johnny Hunt to lead the daytime training sessions. Dr. Hunt currently serves as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia and is the newly-elected Vice-President for Evangelism at the North American Mission Board. He is also a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention and has authored numerous books. He and his wife have led similar leadership training conferences all over the world, equipping thousands of pastors, spouses and other ministry leaders.

In the evening, the Hunts will be joined by our own Dr. And Mrs. Danny Akin as speakers for the Minister’s Family Banquet. The two couples will be sharing a wealth of light-hearted and life-changing wisdom from their experiences in pastoral ministry and the difficult task of balancing ministry and family. In addition to Southeastern students, faculty, staff and families, the banquet dinner is open to local church leaders and spouses as well.

Now here’s the really cool part! Everything is FREE—daytime training sessions, lunch, resources, the evening banquet (including childcare!). It’s all free! On top of that, all SEBTS classes will be canceled on November 6 in order to enable all SEBTS students to attend.

Now here’s the really important part! You have to REGISTER. Space is limited, so you need to register separately for both the daytime conference and the evening banquet in order to ensure enough lunch, resources and evening meals for everyone. You can register for the daytime conference HERE, and you can register for the evening banquet HERE. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity!
