Student Life: Study Break

Take a break from studying and come out for free pancakes and coffee in the Ledford center. But don’t take too long of a break, because we don’t want you to fail your exams. But you also need to eat, and pancakes are the perfect brain food!

Joyful Collective

This Saturday, December 6th, Southeastern is hosting a free Christmas concert for the community. Bring your family to enjoy Christmas carols, hot chocolate and light refreshments. The music will be led by the following local worship leaders: Donnie Hollis, Wesley Price, Josh Via, and Daniel Renstrom. No advance registration is required.

GO Conference

Southeastern’s annual GO Conference is February 6th and 7th, 2015. This year’s theme is the Glory of God, because in order to GO, we must first understand who God is and how He calls us to reflect His glory. Speakers and break-out sessions will focus on how to see God’s glory in all aspects of life including sexuality, work, race, studies and more. This year’s speakers are Danny Akin, Tony Merida, H.B Charles, JD Greear, and Russell Moore.

Speaking of events for next semester, you won’t want to miss out on these exciting events:

  • The Wisdom Forum is March 13th. This free event includes a series of TED Talks, free books, and Jubula Coffee and Waffles.
  • The SEND North America Experience Tour is March 17th. This event is also free and will feature the Passion Band and David Platt as the main speaker.
  • Kari Jobe will be in concert in Binkley Chapel on April 11th. Tickets are $12 for students!
