Reasons2Believe Conference | July 22nd @ Colonial Baptist Church
Jul 22 @ 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm

The Reasons2Believe Conference is an Annual Apologetics Conference and Panel Discussion. This years’s focus is on Millennials: Giving a Generation Reasons2Believe.  We’re praying for 1,000 people from the local college community to come and learn how to defend, retain and proclaim.

Join Alex McFarland, Greg Koukl and Ben LaCorte at Colonial Baptist Church on Sunday, July 22nd. Your teens and millennials will learn how to protect & defend the great truths of Christianity. The event includes two presentations given by nationally known speakers. In addition, you and your youth will interact with a full panel of Christian millennial men and women who have formed and retained healthy Christian relationships in college and successfully navigated their way through increasingly hostile college environments.

This event is FREE for students! 1 Adult non-student ticket costs $15, and family non-student tickets cost $30. For more information on the event and to purchase your tickets, click on the link here.

Rags to Riches Theater Group presents Stone Soup @ Wake Forest Renaissance Centre
Jul 27 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Local theater troupe, Rags to Riches, will be presenting Stone Soup in collaboration with the summer reading list story offered through the library system.  This production is an adaptation of the Grimm Folk tale. On the way to the city school, a young mouse, Scurvy, gets hungry and tries to find some animals to share some food with her. Everyone is greedy and stingy. When she speaks of her magic stone left from the soup she had at the King’s table, everyone suddenly changes their tune. The audience will watch Scurvy convince the animals in the town that by sharing there is more than enough food for everyone, and how they can have fun doing it!

This is a free event.
