The Madness 2017

The 2017 NCAA Tournament is here, which means it is time to fill out your bracket and come to the Ledford Center to watch the games!

1) Enter to win $50 to Dick’s Sporting Goods by participating in the Tournament Challenge! Go to ESPN’s website, join the SEBTS 2017 group, and create your winning bracket.

We are using ESPN’s Tournament Challenge to compile scores. Log on to create your bracket before it is too late! Each contestant is allowed up to three entries for this group. All students are allowed to participate, even Distance Learning Students. If a Distance Learning Student wins the challenge, we will mail the prize on Tuesday, April 4. Participants may change their selections as often as they like prior to the scheduled tip-off time of the first game in the second round of the tournament (currently scheduled for the morning of Thursday, March 16) after which all selections must be finalized. For your convenience, you can also download ESPN’s Tournament Challenge app.

Important Tournament Challenge Dates:

  • Thursday, March 16- before first game (noon): Deadline to enter your brackets!
  • Tuesday, April 4: Tournament Challenge winner will be announced by email!

2) All the NCAA Tournament games will be on the tv’s for your viewing and entertainment in the Ledford Center!

Who wouldn’t want to see all the games at the same time and keep up with their bracket? The Student Activities and Discipleship Office will also have free food, popcorn, and drinks when promoted on @AroundSE to enhance your experience as you enjoy the Madness at the Ledford Center.

3) If the NCAA Tournament is here, that means The End of Madness is near!

Come celebrate The End of Madness on April 3 at the second annual Student vs. Faculty/Staff game at 7:00pm in the Ledford Gym, following this will be the long awaited NCAA viewing party in the main floor of Ledford at 9:00pm. With tons of free food, great raffles, games, and prizes for everyone, this event will be the best finale to all the madness. Make sure to bring your posters, pompoms, and the family for an awesome night of basketball.
