“Calling Out the Called” Luncheon | April 20

How do we know when we are called to be pastors and missionaries? Are you helping others understand their calling?

Join us for our Global Missions Week and enjoy a FREE lunch and insightful discussion with special guest, Dr. David Sills, along with Dr. Scott Hildreth and Dr. Steve McKinion as they discuss the specific calling to pastoral and missionary service and ways for pastors to recognize this specific calling in their church members.

Dr. Sills is the Professor of Christian Missions and Cultural Anthropology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the author of The Missionary Call, as well as Reaching and Teaching and Hearts, Heads, and Hands among other publications. Dr. Scott Hildreth is the Director the Center for Great Commission Studies and Assistant Professor of Global Studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Steve McKinion is the Associate Professor of Theology and Patristic Studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

FREE hot lunch and a free copy of the The Missionary Call will be provided for the first 70 registrants! Come join us on April 20 at 11:30am (immediately following chapel) in the Hall of Presidents.

This event is cosponsored by the Center for Great Commission Studies, Global Theological Initiatives, and the Center for Pastoral Leadership and Preaching.
