Getty Sing! Conference | September 18-20

Want to go deeper in your theology of worship as you prepare for ministry? Looking for a way to earn elective credits towards your Southeastern degree?

Consider taking the Getty Music Sing! Conference for credit this Fall. The Sing! Conference – a conference for pastors and musicians to reform and encourage congregational singing – will meet in Nashville, TN on September 18, 2017 through September 20, 2017.

Registration for the Sing! Conference is sold out. However, Southeastern has secured 10 spots especially for SEBTS students taking the conference for credit.

To take the conference for credit and secure your spot, follow these steps:

  1. Go to www.sebts.edu/academics/distance_learning/Sing%20Conference.aspx.
  2. Register and pay for the conference. A special conference registration code for SEBTS students will be provided upon registration for the SEBTS class.
  3. Make arrangements for travel and accommodations. Know that others from SEBTS will be there!
  4. Register for the conference course: PMN6731 (seminary) or MIN3731 (college) Current Issues in Leadership. This special 3-credit class is only $99 in tuition.

The Sing! Conference exists to help pastors, musicians, and other leaders build a Biblical understanding and creative vision for the congregational singing in their churches. Bringing together speakers and artists from many traditions and walks of life, our desire is to encourage churches towards a deeper, more dynamic view of theology, artistry and mission in congregational singing.

You are responsible for registering and paying for the conference, as well as all travel expenses. Attendance of the entire conference is required. Details about the conference and accommodation options are available here: www.gettymusicworshipconference.com.
