Worship, Technology, and Arts Opportunities for Spring 2021

Get equipped to serve the church in Worship Ministry, Technology, and the Arts as you help fulfill the Great Commission in Spring 2021:

1. Contemporary Music Worship Teams (Wednesdays 9:00am or 10:30am)
Participate in a student-led worship band to design worship sets, rehearse, and work with technology, all under the capable coaching of our music and worship staff. Contemporary Music can be taken for a FREE elective credit by registering for MUS1585ANON or MUS1585BNON (college) or MUS5585ANON or MUS5585BNON (seminary).

This class can be taken for a FREE elective credit by registering for MUS1581ANON (college) or MUS5581ANON (seminary). Due to COVID restrictions, this class is open to a limited number of singers, with special precautions in place.

3. Technology for Ministry (Fridays 1:00-3:50pm)
Technology for Ministry delves into the planning and implementation of worship services and events, scheduling volunteers, and managing church resources. This course includes hands-on experience in technologies that include worship planning software, internet web design, sound reinforcement, multimedia, presentation software, digital sound/video recording and production, and video streaming. Join and gain the many benefits of this 3-semester hour course. Register for MIN3575 (college) or PMN6575 (seminary).

4. Christianity, Culture, and the Arts (Mondays 8:30-11:20am)
Join Drs. Holloway and Waggener for a Christian analysis of culture and its relationship to the church. Visual arts, literature, architecture, and music will be considered in light of significant philosophical questions and contemporary issues. Register for PHI6520 (seminary only)
