Worship Theology and Skills Classes in Spring 2022

Consider these opportunities in Spring 2022 to deepen your theology and build your skills for worship ministry:

1. Theology of Worship Hybrid: Go deep with a biblical and historical study of Christian worship—now in a hybrid format. THE3515 Theology of Worship (college) and THE7510 Doctrine of Worship (seminary) will meet on campus March 18–19.

2. Contemporary Music Worship Teams (Wednesdays 9:00am or 10:30am)
Participate in a student-led worship band to design worship sets, rehearse, and work with technology, all under the capable coaching of our music and worship staff. Contemporary Music can be taken for a FREE elective credit by registering for MUS1585ANON or MUS1585BNON (college) or MUS5585ANON or MUS5585BNON (seminary).

3. Kingdom Choir (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30-10:20am)
The Kingdom Choir gives students the opportunity to sing and lead others in worship. Also, we’ll work with worship leaders to learn diverse songs for worship. This class can be taken for a FREE elective credit by registering for MUS1581ANON (college) or MUS5581ANON (seminary).

4. Musical Skills Classes: To lead musical worship effectively, musical skills are necessary.

*College: Basic Musicianship II with Sightsinging Lab (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00–9:25am)
Learn more advanced chords and part-writing skills as you grow in your musicianship with MUS1503 and MUS1504. (MUS1501 & MUS1502 required)
