The Guild Conference

THE GUILD CONFERENCE

The Guild is a unique one-day conference for worship leaders, pastors, artists, creatives, and supporters of the arts. This conference is dedicated to supporting Christian creatives on their journey of remaining faithful to their work and their walk with God. This year The Guild is happening on Saturday, November 4, 2023, in Raleigh, NC, at Church on Morgan.

BACKGROUND

The Guild was specifically designed to care for the craft and character of creative people and to encourage creative community. Three years ago, a worship leader (Jess Ray with the worship group Mission House) and a local artist (Sharlene Provilus) co-founded this experience after recognizing the need to challenge, support, and hold accountable other creatives whose lives and artistry have been redeemed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

OUR HEART

Our desire is to inspire their creative work, spiritual journey, and daily rhythms. We want to provide tangible opportunities that support artists/creatives in their journey of remaining faithful to their work and their walk with God. Our heart is to create an experience that encourages intentional rest, resetting, and reflection in the presence of God in light of our call as creatives.

SPEAKERS AND CONCERT

This year we will have the following artists and speakers:

  • worship group Mission House (Jess Ray and Taylor Leonhardt)
  • Grammy Award winner Dwan Hill
  • writer and musician Andy Squyers
