Another opportunity to help with tornado relief TODAY

Yesterday we sent out an announcement regarding two opportunities for you to serve alongside other Southeastern students and staff to share the love of Christ through serving our community that was hit hard by the tornadoes on Saturday. We realize that these are last minute emails and that many of you are out of town; however, we want to make you aware of another opportunity that you can serve today, April 19, 2011.

SEBTS will be sending another crew to the Mitchell Mill Rd area to help homeowners clear fallen trees from their property. If you are interested in serving, here are the details:

  • When? Meet at the Facilities Plant (near the Housing office) at 12:30 PM. Look for Facilities crew wearing neon green shirts.
  • Bring work gloves. If you have any rakes, chainsaws, etc. bring those as well.
  • Wear comfy clothes.

If you are planning to come, please let the Student Life office know so we can plan accordingly. You may either email us at or call the office at 919-761-2302.

If you can’t come until later in the day, call our office and we will give you directions to the neighborhood.

Thanks for your willingness to serve our community by being the hands and feet of Christ. We appreciate you!
